The Women's Business Enterprise National Council has announced its annual listing of America's Top Corporations for Women's Business Enterprises. This year a record 19 recipients are being honored for implementing programs that help women's business enterprises compete for corporate contracts.
The awards were presented Thursday, March 26, during WBENC's 2009 Summit and Salute to Women's Business Enterprise in Washington, DC.

Accenture, Alcatel-Lucent, AT&T Inc., Avis Budget Group Inc., Bank of America, Chevron, Dell, Energy Future Holdings, Exxon Mobil Corp., IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Manpower Inc., Office Depot, PepsiCo Inc., Pfizer Inc, Shell Oil Co., The Coca-Cola Co., UPS and Verizon.
Joining the list for the first time this year are Accenture, Dell and Manpower. Alcatel/Lucent and Johnson & Johnson return for the second year. Energy Future Holdings (formerly TXU Corp.), UPS, and AT&T (including its predecessor companies) have been recognized by WBENC every year since the award was created nine years ago. The remaining 11 companies have won the award at least four times.
