Named by NEWSWEEK magazine as one of the "Top 50 People Who Matter Most on the Internet," Aliza Sherman is a web pioneer, online marketing expert, published author, international speaker and regular contributor to national magazines and websites. In 1995, Aliza started the first woman-owned, full-service Internet company, Cybergrrl Inc.  She also started the first women's internet organization, Webgrrls International, which grew to over 100 chapters worldwide with 30,000 members.

More recently, she produced a 12-part documentary TV series. She is the author of six books including The Everything Blogging Book, PowerTools for Women in Business; and Cybergrrl @ Work. She is helping take national the organization Motherhood Later...Than Sooner to support women who became mothers later in life.

Aliza lives in Alaska with her husband Greg, a wildlife biologist, their daughter Noa Grace, a black lab named Ebb and Pancho Villa, a Chihuahua. Her work can be found at www.mediaegg.com.
